Barcaldine

We decided to make it a quick stop off in ‘Barkey’ to see the Tree of Knowledge and pay homage to the birth of the labour party. We did not stay in Barcaldine long as Troy was itching to get to Longreach and it wasn’t really planned. But once we got to Longreach and researched the tree of knowledge a little we instantly regretted moving on so quickly. Even one night there just to see the tree lit up would have been amazing after some of the photos we saw
