Moranbah

A small town that has everything you need. The local pubs get busy during the evening with miners stopping in for after work drinks. There is a nice walk when you first pull in with a large Rhino bucket bought for $1.
The kids enjoyed playing in the town square on a large musical chair and table. There was also a small playground.
We had dinner at the Black Nugget which served up a great pub meal. It had a good, clean kids area and the kids found an area to dance to the background tunes.

Our Accommodation

We stayed one night at Isaac River rest just outside of Moranbah. It had toilet facilities that were nice and clean. There was a little bit of highway noise but couldn’t complain for just an overnighter.
