Nature Cake

Bits and pieces were collected on one of our walks around the campsite. Some of our playdough was getting quite old and difficult to mould so we decided to use it with our nature collections. We made a cake for when Daddy returned. I found some candles after just celebrating a birthday the previous week. It was a great chance to practise fine motor skills, counting, and we talked about what toppings the kids decided on for their cakes. And of course ‘Happy Birthday’ was sung many times.
